My Marantz RC5000 disapeared during my recent home move. So am looking for a replacement. The Neo caught my eye due to the hard buttons and style. However, reading the forums there appears to be problems with the Neo learning codes, especially Panasonic ones. As all my equipment is Panasonic I am a little concerned. Has the problem bee fixed by Philips? Or can the problems be overcome? Also, I can purchase a Pronto RU940 for the same price as the Neo. Which should I go for?
P.S. I don't mind putting in some effort, I continuously developed my Marantz for over a year before it disapeared.
Thanks.

I had a tought time learning Technics as well, which is Panasonic. But it is do-able. I have read the the RC3200 has been revised with a newer chip or something and learns better now as well, the Neo might have had this done to..
Also, look and see if there are NCF files with your devices, if so, then you need not worry about learning the codes as it's been done.

have you looked at the Marantz RC5200, you will be able to use your CCF and have some extra space on screen (the none-editable section has been shrunk)
