I have run into a snag trying to program a couple pieces of equipment. I have a Yamaha RX-V530 reciever that I use for my surround sound. I also have a Yamaha RX-596 reciever that I use to control the output sound for the other rooms in the house. They are similar products with similar controls. Simply turning one on turns the other on, as well as some other issues. I am hoping specific codes may be my problem. Thanks, Dan

Post this in the Custom Installers forum. I think I seen ways to get around your problem in that forum.
