I just got the unit. I am getting around OK on it. I can't figure out how to set up a macro so I can switch from watching tv,dvd, cable box with one move. These all involve different inputs on the tv. On the tv remote I need to scroll through the inputs until I reach the one I want?

Look around in the files section. There my be descrete video inputs for your TV. They make macro creating easy.

What king of Tv is this? If you have to "Scroll" through an online menu, you will need to find what is known as Discrete codes, or Advance codes.

Once this is done, it is fairly easy to create a macro to change input, display settings, what ever...

I have an NCF file posted on this forum that has Sony TV with some Functions, including the Video modes
Sony's have many Discrete(Advance) codes, though you'll have to either find them in NCF files or use a Radio shack remote or on such as the Cinema7

Heres a link on more info

OK -now I found some codes that seem to work for the video inputs. If I go into my tv section I can select these different inputs. When I try to set up macros using these it doesn't work properly. The unit works fine with all my gear but I can't get the macros to work with the tv aspect. The other gear works in the macro settings.
