Does anyone know if the Pronto Neo will switch inputs on a Kenwood VR-606 receiver without using the Learn function? (I don’t have the original remote to learn from) I bought one yesterday but the screen calibration kept failing so I was unable to set it up. I’m wondering if I should exchange it for another one or not. While reading through the manual I didn’t see any codes for receivers at all, I know they work but because I’ve seen posts about them. I also looked through this site looking for info on my receiver but was unable to find anything.
I bought a Sony RM-AV2100 at first but it wouldn’t switch the inputs on my receiver so I took it back and got the Pronto thinking that it could do it all.
I’m in remote hell…please help

What you can do is copy one of these ncf's to your remote to see if they work for your receiver. Furthermore, if you download ProntoEdit and Neohacker you will be able to convert Pronto code to Neo code using neohacker. The Pronto database is huge. Try these first and see if they work. Thanks John! Got most of the functions working with the VR-505 config file. I’m still missing the video 2 button but that’s ok since I don’t have anything hooked up to it right now.
