Everytime you replace batteries, upload or download programs to the NEO, the date is lost. We have complained about it from day one.

Seriously ? Wow, I can't believe that they haven't issued an update for that yet. What are these guys thinking ? I just bought mine last week and I am thinking about taking it back because of that...

Wow, if that had been my only complaint over a year ago when I got my Neo... There were many other things to grip about, though I do think Philips should fix this, as it would be easy, yet I almost feel they have "dropped" the Neo altogether, maybe that is why I have never seen a review of it yet??
I just never bother to set or use the clock on the Neo, that is my fix. Info or Guide on the DTV shows the time just fine for me :)

Zelko,
When first released, the Neo was a piece of crap. It took a lot of complaining to get them to fix it to where it is now. The last firmware and software upgrade made it pretty functional. At this point, I think they have lost interest and have moved on to different products. Pity, because I think the Neo is still one of thei better ideas.

I think Philips needs to realize that this type of product isn't something a consumer is going to be changng every few months or so. They should continue to support the product as best they can. I have already emailed Philips about my Date and Time synch issues, as I am sure most of you have as well.
Like I said in my earlier post, I have had the NEO for a little over a week now and absolutely love the unit. Being able to customize the unit is awesome, and I do think they have a winner. But, they still need to resolve annoying issues like the one that I am having, after all it is about customer satisfaction !
Philips are you listening ?

With my new RC-3200 I discovered that date/time and setup are set to default after connecting the device to the computer.
What's strange is that the RC-3200 emulator uses the computers date and time in the display. It would be nice if the real RC-3200 would do that too.
