I need to use a sequence of three button pushes as part of user
macros. The actual button pushes send a code to switch my AV
distibution system to a different source. I would like to keep this
activity hidden from the user so that e.g. if user hits the View DVD
button the sequence to switch the AV unit to DVD and to turn the DVD
on is hidden.

In NeoEdit terms I would like to be able to set up the actions for a
specific button as

IR Code (Switch DVD Player ON)
IR Code 1 to AV system
IR Code 2 to AV System
IR Code 3 to AV system
Jump to DVD page

The only way I have managed so far is to generate a page with the 3
buttons on it each with its learned IR code. I then produced
another button to carry the macro using a Link to the buttons and
separated by delays as necessary.

On the visible pages I have simply linked to this macro button when
I needed to invoke the sequence. It seems you need a button object
to hold the value of an IR Code (or learned code). It would be
helpful if one could set up an internal "Variable" to hold such
sequences.

Is there any way (perhaps with NeoHacker) to simplfy this.
