everytime I try to download any .ncf file onto the NEO, I get a message that says: "Trying to download into a device not designed for this configuration file" followed by a "Download Failed" message.

I have updated the Neo to firmware 1.4.3, and am running NeoEdit 2.0.5. I'm on a windows 2000 machine.

What am I missing?

Thanks, guys!

I only get this when my Neo's not plugged in. Like when I'm really wasted and I'm changing my configuration because I've had some brilliant idea.

Do you have the COM port set correctly? That is, is the COM port specified in NeoEdit the correct one?

Hi!
Have you saved your file for your Pronto-Neo Version? If you're in europe, you must save it to a RU930-File, if not, you must save it as a tsu500-file.
Greetings,

It had something to do with my win 2000 box. The COM port would work fine for the firmware upgrade, but would fail for teh data download/upload.

I fixed this by switching to a win 98 machine.

Thanks guys!
