Hi there,

i'm a proud owner of the Pronto Neo SBCRu 930 (european version of tsu500).

After 12 hours of configurating, designing and programming with NeoEdit, i now have a perfect remote.

But: sometimes if i upload my configuration from pc to the pronto, some bitmaps in the remote looked scrambled and damaged (for example only the half bitmap/button is visible). sometimes the links are also damaged. Then i repead the upload untill it looks right.
Is it a known problem?
I use XP and serial-com-port 2.
Thanks in advance,
greetings,
Megaron

hmm, never had this happen before with either of my two TSU500's. Are the bitmaps 4 bit? That might cause a problem.

Yes, of course they are 4 bit. Sometimes
the bitmaps are perfekt visible and only
sometimes they're broken.. So i think
it is something wrong with my pc-hardware..

I had the same problem. That was because i used 8 bit bitmaps. I don't know how to get Corelpaint to work with 4 bit bitmaps. so i made a customized pallette with only the 4 colors of the Neo. My problem has disappeared since then. my guess is that the Neo converts the other colors to what it thinks is the closest match [Try uploading a colored bitmap, it will convert it itself to 4 bit].

Thanks, but now my problem has also disappeard.
BTW: I used a pronto-colortable in Photoshop. So the error was not the bitmaps...

I now use the com-port 1 and now everything works perfect.
