So, is there any way to make the keys in the device overview page send an IR code prior to jumping to the device menu?

Basically, I'm trying to set one of these things up for my parents to use, and the concept of "press device, then press pre-amp, then press DVD, then press device again, then press DVD, THEN you can control the DVD player" is WAY too complex for them to have to deal with.

What I want is for them to press device, then press DVD, and have the DVD menu come up and have the amp switch to the DVD input. PLEASE tell me that there's a way to do this, and my apologies if this shows up in a FAQ or something somewhere...I've been looking for a while, and I've tried NeoSynch and NeoHacker, and although both allow me to get the button layout I want on the device overview page, including transmission of IR, the Neo just locks up with the "transmitting" icon in the corner rather than sending a burst and then jumping.

Thanks in advance...

Update:

Okay, I tried it again last night, from the beginning, and apparantly, I finally managed to do something right that I'd missed the first three times, so now I've got a working weapon.

I've gotta say, though, it's amazing to me that Philips could release the NeoEdit software with this deficiency. I mean, it's clearly intentional on their part that the thing not be able to do this...if it weren't, why would they have that dialog warning that the device overview will always be rebuilt? It would be _so_ simple to just have an item under the "Tools" menu for "build device overview", and then just not do it automatically on save. Unbelieveable.
