In my quest to find discrete codes for my Hitachi 60" Rear projection TV, model 60CX29B, I found some codes listed on this site, but they did not function at all.
I then tried to contact Hitachi Tech Support, and much to my amazement, they replied within an hour or so, but with this:
ON: 50AF 3EC1
OFF: 50AF 3FC0
Does anyone know how to convert these IR codes as published by Hitachi to a format that can be used by ProntoNEO?

What it comes down to it depends when your set was manufactured. I have a 53" ultravision and tryed all sorts of codes with no luck and it following the pronto forum they say unless is really recent it is a toad
