I received my Pronto Neo last night. Purchased it from AV Smarts, got a great deal! As I mention in previous posts, I already had all the screen set and had chosen codes for all my components, so it was a matter of downloading the program to the remote and seeing if it worked! Well, almost... After connecting the remote and clicking download, I received a message saying I needed to update the firmware. So off to the Philips web site I went. The update went without a hitch and the download went well also. Upon trying the remote, the only componenyt that worked was the cable box, the one I thought I'd never get to work based on reports I've read here! So, now the fun begins! I did manage to get the TV working using the setup within the remote itself, but will probably have to "learn" the button from the DVD Home Theatre system and the VCR. All in all, I'm pleased so far. We'll see if that changes after I tackle the learning process! Thanks to all that answered previous questions, and everyone else who has provided a weath of knowledge on this board!
