here's my predicament in setting up a macro: I'd like to set it up so that my tv also goes from the TV mode to video 4 (only composite outputs) but hitting the "tv/video" button 4 consecutive times doesnt work on the macros. any ideas? let me know if you'd like clarification on this one. thanks ahead of time.

Best way is to find an Advance code(Discrete)for the TV to put it into video 4

What is the TV brand and model? Also you'll need to find it in the Pronto ccf files or learn it from a Radio Shack or Cinema remote.

There is advance codes for that, and if you DL some NCF files, I belive there are some that have all 4 inputs.

I have DL both software, even though I have the TSU500 model. The only difference is that the zip commonts are different. Change them to either 1, 2 ,3 and they will all open with both software.

I know the Marantz version has no database of codes, but you can input Pronto codes into the buttons! Just double click a ir code and paste it in. Were as, for the philips software, we have to rely on NEohacker.

Still, one could use either progrm to design thier layout, and then just change the zip comment.

E2, I have a 32" Wega and none of the video 4 descretes worked for me. Maybe you'll have better luck. Check on the yahoo site also because several people posted codes for me. If you run into the same problem, I have video 1-3. I was able to create a macro to get to video 4 (component video). If you need my ncf let me know.

thanks! will get to it sometime soon (macros are nice, but only a necesity for others that use my system, like my dad and girlfriend). Will let you know! I had to go to video 4, as that was the only way to run component (RGB) video. oh well!
Thanks!!!
Ethan
