I am thinking about purchasing a 3801 that has no remote along with a Neo. Please, if anyone has the codes for the 3801, or knows if it is the same as the 3802, let me know! Thanks.

Thanks...I'll take a look. So how do you like the Pro Logic 2? Just wondering because I am trying to decide whether to get a used 3801 wihtout a remote...or a used 3802 that has a remote...obviously the 3801 will be cheaper.

Well I guess it depends on the savings, but unless they are great go for the 3802, I upgraded from a Yamaha and I could not be happier. The prologic II makes a huge difference for your regular tv viewing which if your like most is going to be the bulk of of your viewing hours. I don't know your budget but dolby digital II is something you may want to consider. I'll try to post the file soon.

If you need the Denon remote for the 3801, I have a Denon RC883 spare remote on Ebay that comes with the AVR3802, I think its the same for the AVR3801. May wanna research that....here's the link [Link: cgi.ebay.com]

by the way...I rarely use PLII with my 3802, NEO 6 sounds exactly the same (to me), if you can get the 3801 way cheaper, I'd get that.
