Has anyone had problems getting a TSU500 to learn comands from a General Instruments Cable Box?
If so, did you get it to work?

I think most people have problems with the Neo learning
the oem remotes. Some of the remotes learn with little
errors and some are a real hassel. I had great difficulty
with one specific RCA remote but did manage to get it to
work eventually.
You can look at the posts in this forum for additional
information on how to get the Neo to learn the codes.
There are some helpfull tips that do work and help reduce
the hassels of programming the unit.
Like oem remote angle to Neo, lighting, button pressing
methods and pront ccf learned codes converted to Neo
via Neohacker etc.
Good luck.

I have a DIGITAL Gen Inst cable box from AT&T Broadband. My NEO controls it by using one of the listed codes (0837). You may not have the same Gen Inst box that I do. Are you on digital cable? If so, let me know what model # and I'll check to see if it is the same as mine. I am a novice at this, so, I can't offer any other solutions that some of the other Jedi NEOWarriors can.

It's not a digital cable box, it's the same model they've had for over 10 years, a newer sleeker design, but it's still the same basic box. Ever since I had cable in Maryland, it's been this cable box in different counties, from different providers. If I can't make it work soon I'm going to give up and take it back. Is there a similar remote for around $200?
