Hello all, hopefully someone has seen this- let me try to explain. One of my devices is an RCA DSS (drd420), so I've been loading channel icons; 6 or 8 per page. The built in codes for this device do work as my first page is just numbers/menu stuff. For instance press the 'Discovery channel' icon and I want the remote to do 0-2-7-8. After entering 4 IR codes for this button or 4 ir codes with delays in between; I go back and check and everything is all 8's or 5's for any button I setup. If I redo a button- and without leaving Neoedit check the IR codes they have already changed. A little help??
Thanks

I'm not sure i understand what you're saying, but i'll take a crack at it. Create 4 links in Neo Edit for that bitmap or button. You will have to create 4 links for DSS. Link the button to your DSS key pad page. It will show up as 4 links in Neo Edit. I suggest you do 2-7-8-OK No need to do that first 0.

You can not have more then one IR code per button, unless you hack the .xml file that is :)

What you need to do is have a number pad layout on one page and "LINK" the button that you want to each button on the number pad, thus creating a macro.

I use a RCA dss and just have to put in the number, no "OK" or "0", so for example, I have my CMT bitmap link to "3", "2", then "7" and thats it. I think that the Neo is saving the last IR code you are giving the button, thus 5 or 8 or what ever. Also, make sure you have the latest NeoEdit and Firmware.

The newer DSS receivers have 4-digit channels. Linking three numbers without a "0" in front or an "ok" at the end will not work. I have two receivers, one takes 3 digits, the other requires four. Strange since there are no 4-digit channels. But it is what it is.

I have the RCE UTv dss receiver, it has 4 digits for one channel, 1020, that is the channel used to play the shows that have been recorded. Still this is a new IRD and at least with RCA there is no need for the "Enter" or "OK" button to be used. I liked my older Sony better, as one had to hit enter. Now if you press a number by mistake, the receiver will change to it! IT is really a bummer :(

Hello,This receiver will not do anything if only 3 digits are input (older ones do that nrd505,hughes), so a 0 to fill in the fourth or OK at the end does the trick. I didn't realize the 'One ir code per button' that's what my mistake was. My first page for this is a keypad so I linked macros to that page for each channel, works great (now). Thanks for the help.
