I was so pleased to have gotten the new NeoEdit,
in the hopes that my ProntoNeo may become something
more exciting than a paperweight. Unfortunately,
NeoEdit decided that it needs the absolute latest
version of the firmware in order to communicate. This
led me to the new website, which was apparently built
by lobotomized, yet artistically talented howler
monkeys. I've "registered" three times, to absolutely
no avail; similarly, my comments and emails have not
produced any results (given how the website works, they
probably got sent to /dev/null). They had better hope
I don't get spammed on those email addresses before
I get access to the site ...

Moving beyond that disappointment, I also noticed that
they also broke all the links from here at Remote
Central to the philips.com site; that includes the
latest firmware update. So, does anybody know of some
spot on the net where a copy of the newest Neo firmware
update may be squirreled away? (Preferably, someplace
*without* a pronto.com on the end ... :-)

Gracias,
Jack

Ah, yes, that worked fine - right past all that registration hoohah. (Further indication of the sophistication of the website, eh? :-)

Many Thanks!
Jack
