Hi all. Brand new user of a ProntoNeo and I've got most of my devices setup but the most important one. The Motorola Digital Cable box - Model DCT2224.

When I try to learn from the remote for this unit I get an immediate "Failed" on the Neo. I can learn from another remote but I can't learn anything from the Motorola remote.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Doh! Ok, from reading other messages and lots of tedious button pressing I was able to get the functions I wanted to record. Just have to keep repeating and testing and repeat on failures.

Does the Pronto have this learning disability also or is it just the Neo?

Thanks.

I used the General Instrument codes on mine since that is what the remote for it was. Most of the codes were already there. I had trouble with a sony model and could not get it to learn many of the codes.
