Has anyone been successful in learning Denon AVR-4802 IR codes from the Denon 8000 remote? Up until now, I have never had any problems with learning IR codes on the Neo. Granted, I have fairly basic requirements and no X10 devices. I have downloaded NCF files that have Denon devices and they control about 98% of my 4802. The keys indicate, “learned IR” when viewing actions. So, I can’t tell if they been converted from CCF and hacked into the Neo or simply learned. I’ve tried all the learning tricks (Neo first, Remote first, Dark room, etc.) Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I may be dreaming, but about 2 weeks ago, I could learn the Denon codes with my Neo. The only change to the ncf was addition of various buttons that increased the overall size by about 30K. I would be hard-pressed to think that the RAM size would have any impact on the learning ability, but I can’t figure out what’s going on. I’ll make a few more attempts and may take you up on your offer.
Thanks

I have a 4802 and really haven't had much trouble learning the codes. Are they all giving you trouble, or are the specific ones? --Karl
