Im a pronto 1000 owner for years and have it working perfectly, I need another and Im contemplating the neo. Question one: Can the neo get my layouts and/or codes from my pronto without a hassle? 2: Should I just get another pronto and not even bother?

Thanks

1) NO. The Neo uses the NCF file format that is not compatible with the CCF file format. You could save your icons as bmps and load them in the Neo, and there is a utility that converts Pronto HEX to NEO HEX, but I would guess this falls under hassle :-)

It would take some work to get it up and running however you may find as I did that the hard buttons are indispensable

I have to agree, I don't miss my TS1000 at all. The Neo's extra hard buttons allow me to use it without looking at it. I got tired of taking my eyes off the movie to fiddle with the touch panel.
