I've finally got a chance to update NEOHacker.
You can find version 0.7 here:
[Link: sourceforge.net]

Changes:

- It now understands Pronto HEX codes that have 2 burst pair
sequences. Thanks to Pat Spector's hard work! You no longer need to
use Pat's excel spreadsheet to convert the code before you enter it
into NEOHacker.

- The input window will now resize properly to show all the text.
Useful when you are entering long HEX codes.

- You can now change a Normal IR action into a Learned IR action. You
can enter a learned code into the input window of a Normal IR action
the same way you do for a Learned IR action. NEOHacker will
automatically change that Normal IR action to a Learned IR action. So
you no longer have to start out with a Learned IR action.

Thanks again to Pat Spector!

what exactly is NEOhacker and how will it help make my pronto neo better? I was curious cause I've seen people talk about it and never knew what it was or how it works.

it is a utility (created by ChocoboLee) that adds some functionality to the Neo. For instance with it you can override the default home page, to make it look the way you want.

Is there a Windows compiled Version available?

... or what should I do with the class files?

Downloaded and worked great for me... thanks a ton ChocoboLee!

Make sure to get the latest JRE from http://java.sun.com. That may fix the problem(s) mentioned above.

Netscape was my problem, it kept trying to download it as a live update. When I switched to Explorer, it came down without a problem. Thanks Chocobolee!

Jon

p.s. Does this version include PatSpector's updates to handle the Lutron Spacer codes?

Nice work, but european users would appreciate to have a possibitity to store RU930-ncf instead of TSU500! Now everything is converted to TSU500. So it would be just one more line in the output window (or so)...
wo.

Is the difference just a change in the comment. Just like the difference between neo ncf and rc3200 ncf files?

Ya I looked at it a few days ago and it looks like the RU930 uses the zip comment of 002!!

It's pretty funning how philips goes about it to make all the trouble in these 3 remotes!
