I have the H/K avr210 and had a very hard time with it as well. I did finally manage to get the codes you are looking for(with a combination of other remotes and hours of work)that work great for my avr210. I will try to upload my ncf to this site. It may be worth a try to see if it will work for your avr510. 'cause I know you will have very few options, I looked for months! My ncf also has some other very difficult learned codes and discretes for this reciever and: Tv Toshiba 42H81, Sat/HD Reciever Toshiba Dst300, DVD Pan. rp56
Good Luck!! Russ

Hi,
I'm having the same problems as you. Trying to teach my European version of NEO (SBC RU930), where for some reason Philips has removed the built in code for H/K tuners (0137 is the code in the US version TSU500) which I think otherwise would work to control the AVR series.
I have been able to teach the NEO everything but the input selectors AVR, DVD, CD, TAPE, VCR, TV, CBL/SAT. For some strange reason I was able to teach it the codes for input VIDEO4 and 6 CH. DIRECT...
Does anyone have the HEX codes for H/K receivers or know how to extract them from the preprogrammed codes in the NEO??? Please help...
//Chris

Here is a FIX for all the H/K uses that have the RU930, and would like to use the TSU500 database of codes, just make a backup of the old database, which is in the dir /philips/neoedit/RU930 and then take the datebase from /philips/neoedit/TSU500 The datebase's are named TSU500.dat and RU930.dat

I'm afraid you will find the device code(0137) will give you only a few working buttons. I had to learn the input selections and some others from a R/S remote. Thanks to Steve, you should be able to get started by at least getting the device code entered.
Good Luck! Russ
