I have finnaly figured out how to learn the IR codes from the rca Utv keyboard! Thus giving direct ir codes to "Favs", "Search", "PIP Move", and the "12 hour Advance forward and backward in the Guide"

All the Keyboard's letters can be learned as well, which I might also do. When I have updated my NCF I will repost it here. Might be awhile, so if you have your own keyboard, this is how you do it.

Under the battery compartment, there is a dip switch that has two switches on it, just slide them both to the right,"On" postion. This must put the keyboard in a single IR mode, as before there was a burst of 3 ir codes that was being put out.

Something that "demiller9" posted was very handy in learning the RCA Ultimate TV Codes:

"...It was not accepting any of the codes at first, but I was successful after trying the following trick: hold your remote button down before pressing the neo key..."

It may take a little time to learn some of the codes, but I was able to get all of the ones I wanted from the controller without a problem. You want to make sure you Neo key a split second (a.k.a., very quick) after holding down the UTV Remote button you want to learn.
