due to known ProntoNEO problems with learning some more complicated ir codes (in my case that was a remote made by UEI for HDTV set top box / recorder ADB-5800SX) i decided to obtain hex codes using a PocketPC device and some software ale to learn ir codes. I used RemoteControl II from wincesoft (trial version). It learned succesfuly all the codes from original remote. All the learned butrtons worked perfectly. After exporting the hex codes (copy/paste each one HEX to new text document and then transfering it to PC) i've tried to put them using NEOHacker to my own setup. Unfortunately none of the entered functions worked. Am I doing something wrong or maybe the format of learned IR codes from PocketPC is some kind different from this used by the NEOHacker? Any help please? Below are some of the learned hex codes from the original remote:

Are you copying and pasting the codes just like the way you have listed? The second parts of the codes are the repeating signal and should be together with the first parts. So the code for CH- should be:
0000 006E 0012 0012 0008 0022 0008 004C 0008 002D 0008 006B 0008 0032 0008 0032 0008 0027 0008 0051 0008 01EC 0008 0022 0008 0051 0008 001D 0008 002D 0008 0027 0008 001D 0008 001D 0008 001D 0008 0BE9 0008 0022 0008 004C 0008 002D 0008 006B 0008 0032 0008 0032 0008 0027 0008 0051 0008 01EC 0008 0022 0008 0027 0008 0047 0008 002D 0008 0027 0008 001D 0008 001D 0008 001D 0008 0BE9

If you have a Marantz RC5400 remote, you should Post in the Philips Pronto NG Family. [Link: remotecentral.com]
You will get more help there.
When you Post, Post the Learnt Hex Codes you are having Problems with. Even if they do not work correctly, they can be fixed.
Cheers Jason
