I purchased the RU930 instead of the TSU500 by accident, not realizing one was American and one was foreign. Is there anything I can do to make this one work...or am I just SOL???

The only difference is in the built in IR-codes database, which you probably won't use anyway. If you use it to 'learn' from your original remotes or if you use NeoEdit and get codes from this site, it makes no difference if you have a RU930 or TSU500, they work just the same!
