Hi all! I have a Pronto Neo that I've programmed to control my new Humax DRT800 DVR (w/DVD RW).

For the most part, I've used Learn mode to teach the Neo the new Humax codes without any problems. While teaching the Neo, I noticed that there is a light at the tip of the Humax remote that stays lit the entire time I have a Humax key pressed until it has been learned.

But there's one pesky key that can't seem to be learned. And of course, this is a key I really want...it allows me to jump back and forth between two channels while watching live TV. Oprah...Dr. Phil...Oprah...Dr. Phil. (Just kidding.)

What I noticed is that while I have this Humax key continuously pressed during Learn mode, the light on the remote only stays on briefly. Once it turns off, the Neo returns a learning failed message right away.

Does anyone know what this is about? Maybe if I understood what's going on, I could figure out how to get that IR code. (I haven't had any success yet searching the Files area.)

Many thanks!
Sharon

Never mind! I was able to find the code from an ncf in the Files section. (Although I'd still be curious to hear the seemingly different "broadcast" length of different buttons on the same remote. What's the reason for that?)
