I have a RU930 Pronto Neo that I've had for a year and a half, with 5 devices installed using the learn function and have had no problems - until now. I'm trying to get a Hauppauge DEC2000-t Freeview box remote to 'teach' the Pronto, and after many different attemps I finally got some of the buttons to work on the touch panel. But.....I can't get the hard buttons on the Pronto to take the codes properly. When I learn the channel up and down buttons it only goes up and down one station and not continue through the channels. The same thing happens with the direction keys and OK button - one shot only! I've tried different angles and room lighting, upside down and new batteries in both remotes and no joy. Can anyone help?

Cheers

are you saying that you can get the Neo to send an UP or a DOWN signal but that you cannot HOLD down the button and have it scroll up and down? If so I'm not sure what to tell you. MY volume and channel keys will scroll up and down if I hold them.

the Neo will send an up down signal (ie from channel 14 to 15 and back again) but on further presses will not progress through the channels - i'm stuck navigating between the 2. holding down the key makes no difference even though the receiver led on the box flashes indicating it's receiving the command. any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated as this is driving me insane!

Ive got the same problem with the DEC-3000-S.
I think the problem is that the Hauppauge RC sends two different Codes using one button (think it is called toggle button). So you need discrete codes
But my only problems are the TV/Radio and the OK Button.
I have solved the problem by using one Radio and one TV Button on the RU930.
