Is the fact that a DISH 811 remote (UHF Pro) is UHF mean that I cannot program (learn) codes into my ProntoNeo? I've been trying to learn them for a while now and it keeps failing. Supposedly, the 811 remote can operate other components, so I suspect that IR is available in some form. Any help is welcome.

Sytem setup, diagnostics, teach remote. Or an easier way if you have another dish receiver is to change the address temporarily to match the 811 and learn from that remote.

Does the IR Blaster change the output to IR? If so, then I can teach the ProntoNeo just like any other remote?

Just bought Pronto Neo. I love the functionality but if it does not work with Dish Network 811 HD receiver it is useless to me. I did try to learn from diagnostics\teach remote option and I did point the remote toward the 811, not the UHF remote. Pronto Neo accepted the signal, but it does not work. Any ideas? Anyone successful with 811 for TSU500? If so, can you email me the .ncf file?

I have tried the "blaster" method and it failed. I will try the temporary match next and will post any success.

Here are some directions from EchoStar who makes the remote. I haven't had time to try it yet. I will post any success later.
