I am experienced Pronto programmer (2000/3000/6000/7000) and a Marantz dealer. I had previously never messed with the Neo or 3200, but since the 3200 ships with the flagship A/V receiver from Marantz, I offered to do some customization for the client. I did grab a utility that lets me use a custom home page, which is cool, although it defaults to device page after every save. The MAIN problem I am having is that I cannot succesfully paste code from other 3200 profiles. When I try to, it gives me a message that it's not the proper format. However, when I cut & paste standard pronto hex code into the 3200 softwares code window, it will accept it, although the codes dont do a darn thing when put to the test. Any ideas?

Can't comment on the cutting/pasting problem....but I'll take a guess at the custom home page problem.

The neoedit software (or whatever they call it for the Marantz version) automatically creates and uses the device overview page as the start page. You cannot change this within the program itself. There are other programs (which you have found) such as neohacker that will allow you to create a custom start page. However, once you create this custom page and save it using neohacker you can't save it using neoedit.

To get the custom page onto the remote itself you must follow this procedure:
1. create the custom page in the hacker program.
2. Save it in the hacker program
3. open it in neoedit (do not hit save)
4. download it to the remote
5. close the file in neoedit WITHOUT saving.

To avoid accidently loosing your carefully cratfted home page I always copy it to another name in the ncf and use that to set as the start page in neohacker. That way you don't loose it every time you save your ncf.

I've got also a serious problem with editing IR codes using copy and paste. Somehow the RC3200 setupprogram changes the last digit of the code. Result is that the code doesn't work anymore. Tried to manual reset that last digit to it's original, but when saved the program altered again the last digit.

What is going wrong. RC3200 setup progam is version 1.4.6.0_W221.2

Give you an example, first original code, second same code after copy & paste. Last digit is changed by the program:
0000 0072 0000 0023 0060 0020 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0060 0020 0010 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0030 0030 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0010 0020 0020

have you tried using neohacker in input the codes instead of the stock editor?
