Just got my TSU-500 and it is like rocket science. I can't get my Direct TV Samsung HDTV receiver to work. Does anyone have the code?

I had the same problem with my Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 cable box/DVR. Couldn't find working codes anywhere, so I just learned each button function one by one. It was time consuming, but it worked. Hope this helps.

As a last resort, check out the Component Configuration Files by clicking on files at the top of the remotecentral page screen, select the prontoNEo and then Component Configuration Files. It'll give you files that've been uploaded from other Neo owners.

I don't see any Samsung HDTC receivers specifically, but there are televisions w/ HD buttons on some of the NCF file screens. Some of them may work w/ your box.

I had a problem finding codes for my Harman Kardon AVR325 receiver, so I went into all the HK receiver files, copied them to the desktop, opened them one by one, copy and pasted the receiver buttons into one NCF file in NeoEdit, downloaded that to the Neo, then went downstairs and pressed every button to see what codes worked and what didn't.

By the way, you can copy an entire screen from an ncf file by right clicking its name in the drop down list on the left side of the NeoEdit screen, so you don't have to copy/paste each individual button. I had tried opening two NCF files and dragging screens from one file to the other. The problem w/ this is that it'll copy the buttons over, but won't drag the remote codes w/ it. Copy/paste fixes this. Was a pain in the butt, but it worked.
