Hey all,

I am in the market for a new remote and am very interested in the Neo and the TSU3000. I MUST have RF cababilities as my equipment is behind closed doors. I can get a great deal on the Neo, but it does not have a factory RF option. I was wondering if anyone has been using those battery RF extenders with their neo, and if it was working well? Specifically, if the macros work reliably.

I don't want to use the pyramid style transmitters because I want the wife to be able to point the remote in any direction and have my macros work.

If the battery style RF extenders don't work, I'll drop the extra cash for the TSU3000 but would prefer not to.

Thanks for any info all.

Anyone using any type of RF extender with the neo?

I can't believe that this suppossed "home theater" remote doesn't have RF capability built in. Almost all home theaters that I've seen have hidden equipment.

Anyhow, just wondering if anyone has found a good solution.

hi there, i don't know about all this converting to rf and then back again i'm just sticking to ir, i have a QED roomlink ir extender kit, it's not cheap but it works a treat and you can point the pronto in any direction and the thing picks up.

I would use the IR repeater but I want to use it with a multiroom setup so I need it to be RF. Thanks for the tip on the QED though. I'll check it out for another project.
