I already notice that many of you have a problem to download new .cnf files or even a new firmware to your pronto 930. The same problem I have few days ago, after a upgrade to version 1.5.3 firmware to my pronto: in the screen the message "invalid cnf file or corupted flash" or some like that. My pronto are totaly dead! After many many many tries in various PC (tottaly 4) I even use a clean windows install, the download never works. Then, in one day, in a old PC in my work (PentiumIII 333MhZ)the download works perfectly! Then I search some frieds of my and found another old junk (Pentium III) and the download work again! The only posible logical explanation is that the f****ing pronto after the update work only with old version of serial interface. The solution to the problem: use old PC or go and found some external serial ports (usb-serial) with old chipset or serial ports in pci card, again with old chipset. It's really a pain in the a** but maybe the only solution
