My ProntoNEO has started behaving strangely. Sometimes it simply depletes batteries overnight, no matter how charged they were. I'm not using rechargeables. If you replace the batteries it works fine for some time, until it decides to "kill" he batteries again. Has anybody had this problem?

Is it perhaps locking in an active state? Try re-flashing the firmware and/or your NCF.
