I had to install all the codes by learning them from the other remotes. Will I loose the codes if I try to edit some of the buttons by using NeoEdit on my PC?

no, just upload your configuration from the remote to the PC first. SAVE a Master Backup first, then go to town. What exactly do you want to edit?

I just want to add a few buttons and add a "jump".

When you say upload, is that the same as pluging the neo in to the PC and hitting the download icon. I find no upload comand.

Up at the top, under the blue bar, click on the word FILE - it's on the far left side. This will bring up a menu with things in it like NEW, OPEN, etc. Look down the list and click on "UPLOAD FROM RC DEVICE". This will take the information from the remote and put it on the PC.

IIRC, older versions of the software didn't have the capability to upload configuration to the PC. Download the latest version of NeoEdit (2.0.7) from the Neo files section here and try uploading again.

While you're at it, download the latest firmware (1.5.3) but DON'T UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE BEFORE UPLOADING TO THE PC or you'll lose your configuration. After you've successfully backed up your NCF, upgrade the firmware and re-download your configuration.

Good luck.
