hello,

i am trying to program into my Pronto NEO a discreet function for my SONY Reciever STR-DE475. This function will set the Sound Field to a particular mode (as opposed to use the MODE function that simply rotates through all the sound field modes). I think i found all the code information i need to program this IR function into the Pronto NEO in this site [Link: hifi-remote.com]. I intend to use NEOHacker to enter the necessary IR command. However, i have no clue how to use the information i found to compose the HEX data to enter into NEOHacker. Can someone please help?

Thanks
Alon

Unfortunately I believe that what you have found has nothing to do with IR remote codes. Instead these appear to be the internal codes sent over a data-bus to select the sound mode on the actual DSP chip, which is used inside your receiver.

Have you tried searching through the Pronto discrete codes section of this site ? It's possible someone may already have posted the discrete codes that you're looking for.

Hope you get it sorted out,

Stryder
