......for an experienced user. My Panasonic flat panel TV remote only has 1 button for "Input". If I want to use a macro button for the wife to play a DVD or use Tivo, how can I make sure the TV's "Input" button gets to the "DVD" selection or "Input2"?

Thanks.

Check the (standard) Pronto forum and file section for discrete codes for input for your Panasonic. These are often available even if the remote only has a single "Input" button.

Alternatively, you might try a workaround. For example, on Sony TVs, pressing "Channel Up" always returns the TV to the tuner input. From there, pressing "Input" a set number of times can cycle through to the desired input. This can be easily automated in a macro.

Good luck.

You're welcome, Greg. Don't forget that any standard Pronto codes you find will need to be converted into Neo codes using NeoHacker, the Pronto2Neo Converter, or RC3200 Setup and NeoHacker (all available in the Neo files section here at RC) before you can use them in an NCF file.

My favorite method is to use CCF Dumper from the CCF Tools suite (standard Pronto file section, Utilities) to extract the Pronto codes to a series of HTML pages. I then copy codes from the HTML pages and paste into RC3200 Setup (since I have RC3200s; you can use Pronto2Neo or NeoHacker).

Good luck.
