I obtained a TSU500 from a friend. He had the remote and the CD, but no programming cable. I just tried an HTM programming cable, but it doesn't appear to work. Can anyone out there describe (electrically) this cable. I'm assuming it's a stereo mini plug (with tip, ring, and sleeve), but I may be wrong. But I also need to know which DB9 pin goes to each of these connector points. Can anyone help me here?
It is the oposite of the MX Cable. so 2 options.... Measure the pins, Build a new cable, and flip the Tip and Ring, or CHop the cable and flip the Red and Orange leads (Black, Sleve to Pin 5, is the same)
Apparently philips are giving them out for free ! The part number for the cable is 483532117142 and their phone number is 800-835-3506, just tell them you need to order the Pronto cable.
