OK, just got the whole darn thing programmed for my Onkyo TX-NR901 and Samsung 507. I hadn't re-programmed my Neo since my Toshiba TV and Yamaha receiver ... forgot how time consuming of an activity it is and how cool it is to have eveything simple for the spouse.

Anyways, outside of making it all look pretty now, I do have on question.

What are the settings/value in NeoHacker to have
Backlight = On

I've found the three lines in "settings", but I'm just not sure what the value for "on" is and whether that goes in 'buttonbacklighttimeout' or in 'lcdbacklighttimeout'?

thanks

my understanding is the backlight and time/date has to be set manually.by holding down MODE etc.

On only applies to backlighting. If it's set to ON, then it stays "on" until the LCD times out. Max setting for LCD is 120 seconds.

That'd be cool if you could save LCD/backlight settings to your NCF file...... let me know if it works.

Just played around w/ the settings in NeoHacker, tried on, ON, "ON", changed the numerical value, nothing worked. Maybe someone more knowledgeable in code writing could help w/ this?
