I have the firmware upgrade, and have installed it, ut I can still find absolutly no way to upload the changes I've made to the remote (changes made on the remote, and not in the configuration files on the computer)to a configuration file on the computer.

Can somone post the steps I need to take??? PLEASE!

I will try to help, but don't completely understand the problem you are having.

You may have the same problem i am having my PIII 866 on a asus motherboard running 98SE will not upload or download to the RC3200 but the remote beeps so com setting are righ. The softhware will work on my toshiba laptop PII 400 running 98 1st edition and i have done all my work on it.

There may be a hardware or software issue that may need be resolved. I've checked the comm setting on the laptop 9600 8bit none xoff xon and my desktop is set up the same either both port are
bad on my desktopw hich is unlikely or there is a softhware issue.

Is your board a Asus or are you running 98SE.

I will be emailing marantz to see if there getting any complaint.Try A DIFFERENT COMPUTER

Good Luck Zar1
