After spending the equivalent amounts on cheaper remotes that wouldn't control all of my items... (I seem to have some troublesome items a HK DVD50, Sony SVR-2000, "Motorola" DCT-2000 etc.), I pulled the trigger on a Neo. I am a "programmer" (Oracle and PB), so I understand the process, that being said I do find all the disparate docs and processes confusing. I'm making progress but I can just imagine a non-technical person reading some of the posts and docs!

That being said I do like a challenge and have been looking to expand my skill set. I've been downloading some NCF's and have been testing mine so I hope to have some to upload soon. Great to be here!

Welcome to the forum! I only had my Neo for a week and have made steady progress. The product's potential is enriched so much by this forum. I think I would definitely have returned mine if it was not for the info I could glean, as well as the capabilitis brought out by NeoHacker tool.

Would love to access and modify the firmware. Am also an Oracle 'Programmer' of sorts, by coincidence.

Cheers,

Datz
