Help!

I have recently purchased a Pronto Neo. I have a big proglem getting it to learn codes from my cable box remote (General Instruments (Jerrold) MRC 550). The problem is as follows:

1. All of the keys learn fine, first time.
2. Subsequently, when I try to use the learned codes, the first code I use works fine. Other key presses from the cable box device do nothing.
3. I send an IR signal for another device (e.g. AMP).
4. I go back to the Cable Device and the first key I use works fine but not any subsequent ones (i.e. back to step 2)

Based on this behaviour, I thought that I can program the 'Cable' keys to first send the learned IR, then link to a 'harmless' key from a different device. This mimicks the same procedure I am using manually to get the d*** cable remote to work.

When I do this, the Neo hangs (showing the send IR icon). I do not have any loops (can this be done with the Neo?), and this macro works fine with the NeoEmulator software. Even adding a delay to the 'learned' key causes Neo to hang (for this remote only, the other devices work, so I am assuming this is not a defect with my particular Neo(?))

Has anyone encountered this type of behaviour and do you know a workaround? The cable box is very important to me and I could not find my model in the Pronto (ccf) section. I have the latest firmware, NeoEdit software. Please Help!

Thanks for all the (non) replies you guys. I was just about to return my Neo after racking my brains to no avail. Then I solved it in the simplest of ways, which makes it ever so hard to own up to:

Here Goes:
1. Went to the Device Settings on Pronto Neo.
2. Used the first Jerrold Codeset for Cable devices.

Pronto! The codes work!

Feel a bit of a dummy, I can tell you.
