Just pulled the trigger on a MX-900...I didn't get it preprogrammed as I find the programming is part of the fun of getting a new remote. So far pretty smooth...but I have a Yamaha RX-V800 receiver and it's not on the list of audio components. It seems each one of the other RX-V ones I pick have things missing (such as CBL/SAT input or some DSP fields I use)...so what are my options? Sorry if this is a simple question...this is my first URC remote.

You can look at the IR code sets on the Yamaha site to determine which model may be the closest match. They are located at:

I would pick the one that appears to have most of what you want and then look at the [Yamaha 99] series for additional features. The ones in the middle 30's are just features and are not model specific. I used three of them for my Yamaha receiver. Finally, learn other ones from you remote to fill in the gaps.

Thanks for the link. Will check it out and try to piece together my receiver.
