a) Crashes 100% of the time when you CLICK on the very top MenuBar {FileEditViewProgram...}.
b) Cause: Left the Editor open as we put my Laptop to sleep.
No change after Repair/Reboot, then Uninstall, then, RegistryCleaned, then Reboot, then Reinstall lastest downloaded version.
c) H-E-L-P.

Self-response:
WindowBlinds was the culprit. Putting {RCE.exe} on WindowBlinds Skin-exclusion list solved the problem. Funny/tragic that the LETHAL BUG did not surface until the Laptop was put to sleep {not Hibernate} with the Mx3000 Editor open.

Had I read this earlier I would have been able to tell you 100% what it was...

Had this happen a lot........Never could figure it out until one day....

you could press ALT- "then the button for the command" and It would still work..... Until you selected the menu and file bar....

P.S. This will not allow MX900/950 software to work either.....

Get rid of windowblinds or choose to close this application and all will be fine.....
If you can't be good, be good at it.

Thanks for the heads up!

I just informed all of our customer service techs - some were already aware of it - to have this info in their trouble shoot routines. You've helped countless future programmers from tearing their hair out...

When I was working for URC a few years ago, I had the same problem. I had to close the skin software and that solved the issue. I don't know the exact conflict, but the skin software was the culprit.

Thank you,
