OK,
I want to try my hand at making animated graphics of my own. I have yet to find a shareware program that will allow me to make it and then size and configure it to use on my MX-3000. Anyone have links to a shareware or low cost program that will work for this?

Thanks,
Ken

If all you want is to create the animated GIF, then Microsoft GIF Animator is quite good. Its very basic, and does not include compression, but is easy to use. I always prepare my images/frames before creating animations. This includes sizing the images as well as converting them to 256 colors in another application. Whatever image editor you use probably has better image editing capabilities AND you're more familiar with it anyway. Best of all the software is free, just search the 'net for "Microsoft GIF Animator".
All the Best,

Thanks, Sean
I downloaded it and it seems as though it will do the basic animation setup. I have photo shop elements and Irfan viewer. Between the 3 programs I may be able to crate an animation but I doubt it since I have no way to create original artwork images yet. As far as I know I don't lol.

Thanks,
Ken

Update:

Well Thanks to all the help I now know that Photo shop elements 3 is able to do all the animated gif work. Now I just need to play with it to learn how to use it.
