Looking for this specific code.

On the original remote it's called "sub-setup" (the button that brings up the onscreen DVD listing menu).

Tried learning the code, but even though I get a "good", it doesn't work.

Code is NOT in the preprogrammed IR database.

Sub Setup Command 1: A3 99
Sub Setup Command 2: AF 79

The pronto hex that this translates to is:

0000 0068 0000 0044 0168 00b4 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 06d9 0168 00b4 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 06d9

I'm assuming you know how to proceed from here.

Nope, didn't work.

Frustrating.....To say the least.

I've got the code in an old Pronto TSU2000, and have been able to learn it into an MX350 and an MX600 and have it work. But tyr to learn it into the MX3000 and it's no go....

And I've installed this code into an MX3000 before, so I know it should work.

Weird, those are the codes pioneer gave me for that specific model. Have you tried dragging and dropping the .ccf via the universal browser with this code? Good luck.

Yup, did the dragon droppings....Shall be renamed "useless browser" for the time being...lol

It's very strange that I can't learn this command in SOME manner..

As per tech, I should try dumping the entire MX3000 Editor program, reloading anew from the URC site, to see if that will help.

Going to send the info to Greg to see if he can figure this one out....

Thanks for the help anyway.....

I sent you a copy of my learned IR code. It may or may not work because my Pioneer DV-F727 would not operate with most of the preprogrammed database IR codes in the MX-3000 database. I had to learn about 80% of the codes. The learned codes all work for my unit.
