How many people are waiting for the release of the new MRF-400??

has anyone seen one other than the prototype 500 at CEDIA?

how will the sensors connect to the unit and what sensors will work with it?
what kind of sensors will be available..video, current, audio, light?

is there a suggested MSRP?

I have been waiting for this unit to see if it will restore my faith in the URC RF performance as the 250 and 300 didnt perform so well in our area and caused us grief, I am hoping the new antenna and macros stored in the base unit will improve the performance and make alot of us happy.

Are there any beta testers that are willing to share any results that you had....good or bad?

Those are some good questions....

how soon until it ships?? I heard it was still in alpha and wasnt ready for beta yet, but should be read for beta by end of this month

I think MSRP was in the 500-600 range and there was a new MXF-250 Rf antenna..several people have used the new 250 antenna as beta..Havent heard back on those. Elan has a line of sensors that might work with the MRF400 but who knows as it has been such a secret to most on its devolopment

I guess we will have to stay tuned....
I can get 7 RG6 cables and 5 Cat 5e wires in a 1" hole and I saved a ton of $$$ by switching to GEICO www.geico.com

The MRF-400's not in beta yet. I wouldn't expect it to be released before late June, probably July.

Here is a quote from Eric that was in another post.....Dated 5-03-06 at 6:35PM

"The upcoming MRF-400 is the correct solution for tracking power status, since it includes sensor ports that can detect when a component is on or off, then issue the toggle power command when necessary.

We hope to ship it in a few weeks!

Best Regards,

-Eric"

now what???
