I program my MX800 to have a button that has a macro AND learn on it.

Can the new manual programmed MX series i.e MX350 do the same?

I'm pretty sure it can, but I mostly use thte mx-850. It would have to be on an lcd button, and be a push and hold macro.

I don't believe that you can have both with any of the non-PC programmable remotes. There's no mention of it in the manuals.

Try using a delay as the first step in your macro. If a quick press and release sends the learned command, then you know the command works. If a press and hold (for the duration of the delay) triggers the macro, then it should be fine. That's really the best way to try it.

Thank you,
