lighting and mx3000 problems

I just bought and set up my mx3000.It was fairly simple.Well all but the lighting.We bought and had installed a Hampton bay fan and light remote control and cant get it to work with the mx3000.Does any one have any ideas on what I should try?Ir learning doies not seem to work and I dont know what to try next.It can pick up signals from the remote but not for the fan or the lights.Any and all help would be really appreciated

Are you sure those things are not RF only?

Yeah, i have yet to see a hampton bay fan/light with an IR remote...they have always been RF as well as all others i've seen. If your fan remote is RF, you are out of luck. If it's IR I would love to see it.

Let me guess, the guy in the paint dept. at home depot told you it would work :-)
