Hi, I am programming an MX-800. I have a power off macro on the main page off button, I would also like to make a push and hold of the off button on each device run this main macro. Is this possible or do I have to rewrite the macro for each button? If so is there an easy way to copy it?

At the top of the "Macro and Favorites" box the is a M with an arrow pointing to it. Click that button to import a macro from another button.

This may not work for push and hold, but I use shortcuts from the DVD, CD, Cable, and other device pages "OFF" button to the MAIN "OFF" button so I only have to write the macro once. Only trouble with copying the macro is that you have to correct each page's macro if you have to tweak it. A shortcut means you only have one macro to tweak.

BTW, make the last command a jump to MAIN page 1 so that turn-off always brings the remote back to MAIN.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
