Does anyone know if there are any codes to control the AM/FM tuner on the Marantz 2nd and 3rd zones.
Currently the way it seems to work is if you want to change channels on the second and third zones you have to goto the main zone and change the tuner. It would seem like there should be a discrete code for the tuner, but I have yet to find one.
Thanks

Lee,
I install mostly Marantz surround sound receivers and I have not found any codes for controlling the tuner from the 2nd or 3rd zone. It's a bit of a pain.
I do have a xantech unit that plugs into the green MULTI RC input in the back of a marantz receiver but I have not tried it out yet so I don't know what kind of functionality it will provide. I have a strong feeling it will act more or less like an IR repeater. I'll let you know if I'm wrong about that.
Sean.

What receiver is it for. There are definetly discrete codes for zone 2 on all marantz receiver. But if you are refering to the SR9600 they are on the remote that comes with it. Let me know and ill find the file and send it to you. Or i can give you the RC5 Codes for zone 2 at least

I could use both sets of codes. I mostly do Multi Speaker but I also do Multi Zone from time to time.
Thanks,
Sean.

I have a MX-850 file that has all Multi Zone and Multi speaker codes. It does have multi tuner, but I haven't tested it. My boss gave it to me. It works kinda weird. You can't see the changes happening on the unit like Denon or Yamaha but the IR codes do work.

The one time I used the Multi room I could see the changes. Also the issue was that when you selected it you had to wait several seconds for it to leave multi mode. If you pressed volume before the time out then it adjusted multi volume. Not what I intended. Didn't mess with multi tuner.

You can definately control the 2nd zone tuner discretely. I've been succesfully controlling the 2nd zone as if I had another receiver. If the codes from above dont help you let me know I'll send you a MXD.
