On my TV-Remote one press of volume up gives one step to the volume, press and hold rises the volume up. When i learn this signal to my MX-950 the volume only rises one step also when i keep the button pressed. How can i learn such a repeat function??

Two suggestions...
Use the preprogrammed codes from the database
or
Use short taps on the original remote buttons when learning the codes.

Hello hiker,
thanks for your fast reply. I tried short taps, flicker and also learnd twice, but no result. It seems to be toggle command. I can't find the
codes in the database. Any other Idea?

Try holding the oem volume button down before pressing learn and continue to hold until the software states it has learned.

Try the above and while learning move the oem away from the 950 slowly.

Try the above and while learning move the oem toward the 950 slowly.

Try tapping the oem button while moving toward and away slowly.

What brand and model TV is it? I may be able to help more.

I've personally had the best results by tapping the volume +/- button between 3 - 5 times while the MX is learning. The taps should be short, but steady and consistent.

Thank you,

Tweeterguy, your tip was the solution. Thank you and Control Remotes for Help.Moving the remote away while tap the button was it. But, can you tell me why? I'd like to learn about why this code is a problem for the MX-950?

Thanks,
REMOTEFAN
